Thagora IN-LINE Workflow



All steps of the leather cutting workflow: scanning, automatic/manual nesting, followed by cutting and collecting are performed at once, on the cutter. Different machines architecture are available starting with one static table cutter up to a conveyor 3 zones cutter.

upholstery web-17 Models
The models are imported in the Gemini Thagora database. During the import procedure, the models are automatically checked for geometrical and consistency errors before using into the production. Conversion from different CAD systems and DXF formats is available.

The leather is received and stored in the warehouse. All the information related to the received batches are stored in the Gemini Thagora database.

The customer orders are entered into the system. The automatic planning module optimizes the production by organizing the customer orders into production orders. The inline production jobs are created. In case of a small or basic production, the production jobs can be also created manually.
4 thagora Quality zones marking
The hides are visually inspected. The quality zones are marked with chalk using different symbols for different levels of quality.
5 thagora Scanning, nesting and cutting
The complete process of scanning, nesting, cutting and collecting are performed at once on the cutter surface. The hide contour and quality zones are automatically detected. The nesting can be performed automatically or/and manually. The parts collecting is assisted by the video projection in order to increase the machine productivity.
Different cutter architectures are supported starting with a single static zone cutter, up to a 3 zones conveyor cutter with high productivity.
